Barnstable Village Renovation & Addition
A Cummaquid couple reached out regarding a redesign and addition to their traditional Cape Cod colonial home. The existing home design had 4 bedrooms on the second floor and they wanted a first floor bedroom that would complement the original house. We designed an architecturally compatible addition on the main level. The simple covered porch off of the new bedroom addition is an architectural feature that is matched on the existing colonial where we added a larger farmers porch. The bedroom and bathroom feature vaulted ceilings with custom beams, painted wood ceilings, custom built-ins and spa-like plumbing fixtures. A small greenhouse-like addition connects the existing house to the primary bedroom.
